MTV Avenue Inauguration rites and Founder’s Day Celebration January 6, 2010

After all those preparations, the day has come. We were still busy preparing for the props and costumes. All stand. The colorful costumes of Pastores Festival, the street dance presentation of Elementary Department, have great chance to top the competition. Add to these the well-dressed dancers and their graceful waltz.

Before the start of the program, a pupil told his mother, “We will never win in this contest since the other participants are older than us.” Then the mother replied, “It is okay. You just have to do your best.”

I supposed to be the one to carry the colorful spirals during the parade; but since I was assigned to interview the special guest Patrick Villanueva of PBB Double-Up Edition, I gave it to Elvis. He and Erwin joined the parade.

I and the other student teachers managed the ‘Pabitin for Kids’ which was part of the program. After this, I, together with the other staffs of the student publication, interviewed Patrick who will be featured in our Newsletter.

There came the street dance competition. The elementary pupils danced gracefully. Who knows that their presentation will win most of the award? Then, they were proclaimed as the Second Place. For me, they deserved to be the Champion.

After this, it was like David and Goliath.
